Break up with your foam roller

Put simply, rolling improves performance, reduces injury and speeds up recovery.

We love rolling out our muscles pre- or post- exercise. Regular rolling, known as self-myofascial release, improves range of motion, increases blood flow to your muscles and reduces the build-up of dangerous scar tissue.

Unfortunately, the massage rollers currently on the market leave much to be desired. They’re not the most aesthetically pleasing objects and they’re typically made from unsustainable materials.

Your average foam roller is a big, ugly and obnoxious lump of EVA foam and PVC plastic. It either ruins the vibe of the room or is stored away and forgotten about.

Similar to many plastics, EVA and PVC are derived from crude oil. The same crude oil that is polluting our oceans and warming our planet. PVC is recycled at a rate of less than 4%, the lowest rate of all plastics and most recycling plants in Australia won’t even accept EVA. As a result, 99.9% of foam rollers will end up in landfill, biodegrading at a rate of about 500 years.

500 years… for a product that’s used for 12 - 18 months on average. Surely there’s a better way!

The solution

Made from cork, we have designed a 100% natural, 100% biodegradable alternative to foam rollers. Not only do our cork rollers look better, they feel better and are better for the environment.
